Lara Palmer is an award-winning advertising creative with a Bachelor of Arts from the Ontario College of Art & Design. As an Art Director, Writer, and Creative Director, she has developed campaigns that not only captured attention but also exceeded business goals. Her experience spans every product category, and in recent years she has focused on travel and tourism brands, including Destination Canada, Destination Vancouver, and resort destinations such as Big Sky in Montana.

After 15 years in Tofino, Lara began exploring photography-based conceptual art in 2024, drawing inspiration from the rhythms of the region’s tides, light, and ecosystems. Her work offers a fresh perspective that invites discovery, sparks imagination, and inspires wonder. Lara’s artwork has been featured at the Tofino Gallery of Contemporary Art, The Long Beach Lodge Artists Series, the Visions Show at the Henry Nolla Gallery at the Wickaninnish Inn, and the Harmony Arts Festival in West Vancouver.
